Staff Bucket Collection for Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP)

Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far to UNISON’s bucket collection to raise funds for MAP’s emergency Gaza appeal. Stewards walked all floors of the Town Hall with collection buckets and so far have raised close to £600. Help us reach our goal of £1000. We are still taking donations and these can be dropped into the UNISON ‘office’ on the 2^nd floor of the Town Hall. We will also be passing the buckets around at the candlelight ‘Ceasefire now’ vigil that is taking place outside the Town Hall 5.30 on Thursday 2 November.

MAP is responding on the ground to the humanitarian emergency in Gaza. It is working to distribute the remaining medical supplies inside Gaza and to distribute other critical supplies like mattresses, blankets, and hygiene. All donations will go to this good cause.
